Season Ending For City’s Outdoor Winter Recreation

Brandon, MB – City of Brandon’s Parks & Recreation Services is advising that due to the recent warm weather, the various outdoor winter recreation amenities are closing for the season.   

The following sledding hills have been closed for the season: 

  • Cherry Bowl, located at 34th St. & Cherry Cr. 

  • Parkdale Community Park & Playground, located at 201 Durum Dr. 

  • Hanbury Hill, located at 600 Braecrest Dr. 

  • North End Community Centre, located at 1313 Stickney Ave. 

  • Rideau Park, located at 305 Park St. 

  • Wheat City Golf Course, located at 3500 McDonald Ave. 

 

On March 2ndthe City announced that the Skating Oval was closed for the season.
