If you’ve been procrastinating to properly dispose of your Christmas Tree, time is running out!

The deadline is this Friday, January 15th. The drop-off center is located on the south side of the Keystone Centre grounds. Just look for the huge pile of trees approximately located across from Murray’s on Richmond Avenue. However, you are asked to use the 18th street entrance and watch for signage that provides further instructions on how to properly discard your tree.

If for any reason, residents won’t be able to drop their trees off before that date, they will still be able to drop off their trees at the Eastview Landfill on 765 33rd Street East after the 15th.

As for recycling from Christmas gifts, the City says all oversized packaging can be taken to the numerous recycling depot locations around the city, including the one near the Christmas Tree drop off.
