Chamber of Commerce Offers Advice This Tax Season
The upcoming tax season is on the horizon. If you’re dreading having to prepare your business and or personal taxes the Brandon Chamber of Commerce may be able to relieve some of the stress built up from the looming tax season. Throwing government assistance throughout the COVID pandemic into the equation will most likely create another major wrinkle business owners will have to grapple with when doing our taxes.
Every level of government has stepped up with supports for individuals and businesses throughout 2020 to help see us all through the Covid-19 pandemic. With funding announcements made, details following, then updates to programs based on feedback from Canadians, the quantity of information can be overwhelming, particularly for business owners in survival mode just trying to see their way through to recovery.
The Brandon Chamber of Commerce invites you to join them along with tax experts Jeff Hood and Jaime Pugh from MNP LLP as they decode and answer the key items you should be aware of for your business to be ready for tax time.
Business owners are encouraged to send in their questions beforehand to get on the agenda. This virtual Q & A session will be held via a zoom meeting on Wednesday, February 17th from 10:00 a.m. To 11:00 a.m. The cost is on a pay what you can basis.
