It was an etransfer that went wrong but worked out in the end.
Brandon city Police received a report that a suspect had sold a person an item for $200.00. The item was paid for by etransfer but was never delivered to the purchaser. The seller then blocked communication with the purchaser and continued to try and sell the item to others.
At approx. 4:00 a.m. the seller, 27-year-old man from Brandon, was in a vehicle that the police stopped.
He was arrested and later released to appear in court on March 15, 2021, on charges of Fraud.
