Brandon Police Arrest Credit Card Fraudster

In October 2020, police received a report of a stolen bank card.  The card was used at several businesses within Brandon following the theft for more than $200.  An investigation led police to learn the identity of the individual who used the stolen credit card; however, his whereabouts were unknown at the time.

According to a Brandon Police Services report, officers located the 39-year-old male suspect on Tuesday, February 2, 2021.

The man was arrested and released to appear in court on a charge of Credit Card Fraud on April 26, 2021.

This is the second arrest this week reported by Brandon City Police involving an individual arrested for a fraudulent act. On Monday BPS reported the arrest of a Brandon man involved in an eTransfer fraud.
